Recruitment Agency, Randstad, Picks Singapore as Regional HQ

Randstad, the global recruitment agency, was founded in 1960 and currently has more than 34,000 employees working from 5,200 branches, in 52 countries worldwide.

The recruitment agency has 45 offices in the Asia Pacific Region and plans to grow its presence in the region, over the next 3 to 5 years. Randstad Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Deb Loveridge said,

“The gradual economic shift east, towards the Asia Pacific, has resulted in many international companies, like Randstad, stepping up investment and placing greater strategic importance on the region, especially as regional GDP and consumer demand growth rates outperform those in other regions. The increased international focus on the region will intensify the competition among employers to attract and retain the best talent.”

In Singapore, the recruitment agency is located in Raffles Place (Singapore Land Tower) and it should be looking to expand and hire, given the announcement that Singapore will be the Asia Pacific headquarters for the firm.
