Standard Chartered Singapore: Three Thumbs-Up

Submitted by Little Bird on April 27, 2011 – 1 Comment

I have been hearing some good things from employees at Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.

The three things which I wanted to share in particular are:

1) Employees seem happy about Standard Chartered’s new offices at Marina Bay Financial Centre. While some feel that the desk space is too small (“Like a call centre” as one employee put it) and there are limited options for food around the area, overall employees like the location, ambiance and common areas

2) I heard of two women who have been working part-time (3, 4 days a week) with the bank and are still on the ‘high-potentials’ list

3) In some areas of Standard Chartered Singapore, there are also discussions of offering employees flexi-work arrangements, such as the option to work from home for 1 to 2 days in the week

Good going StanC!
