There’s a new job hunting website in town.
Venn is a Singapore based startup, that aims to play cupid for employers and job seekers.
The company is founded Candice Aw, who worked in banking & financial services in a previous life, with companies such as Standard Chartered Bank, Deutsche Bank and Bloomberg.
As a job hunter, after logging into the website, you will be asked for your preferences around things such as:
- Type of company.
- Company culture.
- What you like to do at work.
- Your main areas of expertise.
- Your personality and interests.
Based on your responses, Venn will suggest jobs and companies that are a good fit for you. You can then read more about the companies/positions and apply if interested.
Venn already has a number of employers on board including, Sephora, Honestbee, Chope, Paktor, Zalora, Carousell, DropBox, Uber, Spotify and Grab.
Given that the website has started recently, the number of advertised jobs are not that many. However, given Venn’s mission of helping people find the right job at great companies, volumes will be lower than the typical mass-market job site.
All-in-all Venn looks promising and if you’re interested in a startup job in Singapore/Asia, you should definitely check the site out.
