Although the interviewer was very happy to see Hugh and probably wanted to offer him the job on the spot, she did manage to keep her wits and ask some interview questions.
She did not offer Hugh the job.
That’s despite Hugh Jackman displaying his skills in acting, singing and doing push-ups.
To his credit he did talk about his ‘relevant’ teaching experience as well.
The workplace can be tough.
It can be stressful.
Colleagues can get on your nerves and play all sorts of games.
And bosses. Well, less said, the better.
We all have different ways of dealing with things that happen at the office. Exercise, meditation, self improvement, indulging in a few drinks, staying above it all, etc.
And then there are others who prefer, throwing things, breaking things, beating up people, hosing down colleagues, cursing, swearing, lighting things on fire, etc
There are ways to build rapport with an interviewer.
